The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed an investigation into the degrading treatment suffered by a minor in Fortuna, who was tied to a traffic sign and abandoned, which has resulted in the arrest of two local youths as alleged perpetrators of torture and against moral integrity.

Agents of the Civil Guard, specializing in prevention of public safety, began the investigation after detecting that, on 17 August, two local youths had shackled to a child under 12 years to a traffic signal, took photographs, taunted him and abandoned.

Later they spread the photographs taken through a popular social network.

Finally, the victim was aided and released by a local resident who found the place.

The Civil Guards, supported by agents Team Women-Minor (EMUME), specialized in treating victims of particularly sensitive cases, attended and took statements from the victim and continued the search for clues to clarify the crime with the arrest of the authors.

The result of the investigations carried out, the researchers tracked the images broadcast by the authors and soon after managed to identify them.

After a search, they have been located, detained and brought to justice as alleged perpetrators of torture and against moral integrity.

The Spaniards arrested, aged 24, residents of Fortuna and history, along with the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Magistrate's Court in Cieza (Murcia).
