Last October they started this trip, which is taking them all over Spain, and they hope to finish next month
With about 6000 kilometers behind them, the "2plega2" team stops today in Fortuna.
The jerezanos Juan Meira and Pedro Lázaro have been traveling in Spain since last October by bicycle with the aim of visualizing cystic fibrosis.
Although they are not alone, because from the car they are accompanied by their partner Eva Mendoza and the group's mascot, "Perri".
The residents of Fortuna will know first hand the experiences of this trip, as well as the reality of a disease that this group of volunteers has proposed to make known through the solidary challenge "For them to live."
It is a degenerative and hereditary disease that causes infections and inflammations that damage the lung, pancreas, liver and reproductive system;
and that, despite the progress made, it still has no cure.
Tonight they will spend it in Fortuna, where the City Council has given them a place to spend the night, and tomorrow they will continue a journey that is taking them all over the national geography and that they hope to finish in a few weeks in Jerez, their starting point.
