The general director of Agrarian Funds and Rural Development, Carmen María Sandoval, inaugurated this week, along with the mayor of Fortuna, José Enrique Gil, the Hoya Hermosa laundry, whose rehabilitation works have received a grant of 15,000 euros from the initiative Leader, within the framework of the Rural Development Program of the Region of Murcia
The aim is to value this element of the historical and cultural heritage of Fortuna, which is part of the water cycle, to insert it as one more attraction of the thermal complex that usually attracts visitors to this municipality.
The initiative is part of the same line of aid as other Leader projects, such as the improvement of tourist-thermal accesses in the Fortuna baths, the rehabilitation of the Fountain of the Villa of the 17th century, the Master Plan of the Roman Baths or the creation of an ethnographic museum.
