The legislature has been closed at the City Council with the completion of an audit of the municipal accounts prepared by external auditors.
This audit is being carried out in recent weeks and will end in the coming days, to put in reference the economic-financial situation of the City of Fortuna at the end of the current term.
Specifically, it is collecting all the necessary information to transfer it to the neighbors and know the real situation of the accounts presented by the consistory at the close of the current legislature.
This initiative "responds to the commitment of the government team to all the residents of Fortuna and it is expected that the audit will faithfully reflect the current situation of the municipal accounts".
"Transparency is a commitment, and neighbors have the right to know how their city council is and that they can assess with all the necessary information how public resources have been managed during the last years".
From the City Council will continue to be done every year or every two years in compliance with the provisions of Article 29.3 of Royal Decree 424/2017.
