The animal protection entities Animal Union of Murcia and the Animal Protection Association of Fortuna, together with the Animal Welfare Councilor of the municipality of Fortuna, hold an open meeting to explain the new model of ethical management of feline colonies.
This City Council thus becomes a defender of its abandoned cats and dogs, complying with the Law on the Protection of Pets of 6/2017.
At the meeting on January 18, the budget items to be applied for castration, spaying and deworming will be reported to your felines.
In addition, the composition of your Animal Welfare table will be communicated, as well as the ethical animal collection service, or plans to protect the colonies by installing adequate booths for these kittens.
We will have the assistance of members of authorized and experienced animal protectors in the Region of Murcia, in the area of ​​catches with trap cages by Feline Neighbors from Murcia, adoptions responsible for Abandoned Cats2 from Cartagena, and the construction of cathouses by I am your Voice from Yecla.
We invite all those people to attend this meeting, as well as to disseminate this news, with the aim of making social change known and how the City Councils begin to fulfill their obligations to their feline colonies as ordered by article 25 of the Law on Protection of pets in the Region of Murcia.
