The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the 'Plan against theft in agricultural and livestock farms', has developed an operation that has resulted in the recovery of metal materials, agricultural tools and a pressurized water machine, valued at around 15,000 euros, stolen from a livestock farm in Fortuna (Murcia). A person, an employee of the farm, has been investigated as an alleged perpetrator of theft crime. The investigation began when the manager of a livestock farm, located in the Los Salteadores area of ??the municipality of Fortuna (Murcia) and dedicated to pig farming, denounced the theft of several pieces of stainless steel, from those used for the assembly of feeders as well as other professional tools. Civil guards from the ROCA (Anti-Theft in the Field) teams began the investigation, collecting information about the stolen objects and inspecting the farm. After this, the agents focused the investigations on the inspection of recycling centers, although, due to the current state of alarm, only some of these establishments were open to the public. In this way they arrived at an establishment in the municipality of Cox (Alicante) where they carried out a thorough examination of the product entries, where the suspicions were confirmed when detecting the sale of various stainless steel pieces, carried out on several occasions by a neighbor of the municipality.

At that point in the investigation, once the metal materials were found in the junkyard (valued at more than 1,000 euros), the scaffolding and ladders (valued at 4,500 euros), and in the absence of any effects, the civil guards investigated until they met a frequented address.

The investigation has culminated in the recovery of nearly 15,000 euros in agricultural materials, as well as the investigation of proceedings for an alleged crime of theft against a neighbor of Albatera (Alicante). The person investigated, the effects recovered and the proceedings investigated have been made available to the Investigating Court of Cieza (Murcia).
