The Autonomous Community works to improve the road safety of two regional roads damaged by the dana, which run through the municipality of Fortuna, whose works will involve a regional investment that exceeds 90,000 euros.
It is known as the 'La Garapacha road' (RM-A17) in which a few weeks ago the road surface and drainage were repaired at kilometer 19.5.
The general director of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, explained that now his department is correcting a fissure at kilometer 7, caused by the large amount of water that flowed at that time along the Rambla de Cantalar. In addition, another action is being carried out on the Fortuna variant (RM-423), which consists of the construction of drainage ditches that prevent the entry of water to the platform of the road.
It also includes the rehabilitation of the pavement and the replacement of the horizontal signage.Fernández Lladó announced that both works, RM-A17 and RM-423, will be completed this November.
