Improve the quality of life of families in our town, as well as promoting the reconciliation of work and family life are some of the objectives of the Summer School 2016, which starts from the Department of Education and Welfare social City Council of Fortuna, who now heads Marisol Gracia.
We therefore wish to promote a quality school, where recreational and leisure activities are promoted, with cultural, artistic and sports learning.
In this regard, the City of Fortuna, offers a Summer School with more than 100 seats to cover for children in Fortuna, aged between 3 and 11 years.
In turn, will benefit from this school, children of the municipality of Fortuna at risk of social exclusion for free, which have a favorable report from social services.
So too will enjoy discounts on the fee, families where more than one brother / sister in summer school and the many families in the municipality with the title in force.
This school represents, for the first time in the city, the opening of school canteens in summer to benefit both families for work as required, as those younger than being in a delicate situation without resources, can enjoy the summer and have secured at least the food during the months of July and the first half of August also allow the reconciliation of personal, work and family, providing an alternative entertainment to children through various recreational and educational activities.
Fortuna City Council has opted for this program so that these activities take place within the same school as they would in a single enclosure all services.
All activities will take place in the CEIP Vicente Aleixandre, where there will be a service of morning classroom (7.30 to 10 am), summer school with various activities and games (10 to 14 hours) and end with the service dining (14 to 15 hours).
We hope that this measure is in the best interests of the children of the town and encourage the City Council, families to participate in this project that will provide safe time and safety for all children enjoy these well-deserved vacation.
