The regional government has approved the signing of agreements between the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) and the municipalities of Alcantarilla, Lorca and Fortuna, for a total amount of 394,420 euros, to provide the early intervention services to children up to six years in these municipalities.
The grant for Gutters is 44,212 euros to 239,198 euros Lorca, will Abarán Fortuna 43,168 euros and 67,842 euros are intended.
The network of early intervention services is divided into 23 municipalities that bring together nearly 90 percent of inhabitants.
Child development centers and early treatment are formed by an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, educational psychologists, pedagogues, speech therapists and physiotherapists.
Among the services provided highlights the screening and diagnosis, overall stimulation, physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychology, psychomotor, and information and family counseling.
Users of early care center are children with therapeutic, temporary or permanent needs arising from limitations, changes in development or risk of it.
They can also benefit from the services provided by their families, who guidance, training and support is provided.
