The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment installs an interpretative viewpoint in the protected landscape Humedal del Ajauque and Rambla Salada, specifically in the place called Derramadores wetland in Fortuna.
The execution of this project involves preparing an area to promote environmental education and knowledge of the values of this natural space.
The General Director of Medio Medio, Consuelo Rosauro, said that "the special characteristics of this place make it ideal for recreation with the landscape and biodiversity of the area." This viewpoint is ideal for those who seek to observe new landscapes and gain knowledge about geology, fauna and flora in this unique space. "
The works focused on the creation of infrastructures for public use that make the conservation of natural resources compatible with their use and enjoyment by visitors, complying with accessibility and security requirements.
For these purposes, an access ramp has been made to the viewpoint for users with reduced mobility and an observation platform with a wooden fence around it.
In addition, it has interpretive, informative and normative signage and diverse furniture for public use such as banks, tables adapted to people with reduced mobility and a wooden pergola.
"The need to carry out these actions is justified by their interest for the conservation and protection of the environment, specifically the landscape, fauna and habitats and plant species, as well as for the promotion of the natural space, through the creation of infrastructures for public use, "said Rosauro.
The investment made by the Autonomous Community in the viewpoint of this protected area, which has had funds Feder, is 33,135.46 euros.
