Ginés González Martínez, presented at a press conference a new workshop on Employment and Local Public Employment Program in Fortuna.
Both programs, which have been funded by the Employment and Training Service will begin its journey from October this year and get to work 35 unemployed people in the municipality.
Employment Workshop, which bears the name "Thermal Fortuna" has a budget of € 530,437.44, of which € 518,437.44 come from this grant, and he will work two modules: one for Gardening and Restoration Landscape, and a kitchen, with the participation of 24 employees which is currently unemployed, and sign a contract for one year with the city, through which they will receive professional training alternating with work and practice, which will enable them to facilitate their access to the labor market.
As for the Local Public Employment Program, which has also been supported by the Employment and Training Service for an amount of € 166,573.04, was hired 11 people unemployed, who will sign the contract of 8 months with the City of Fortuna , to carry out landscaping and masonry work on a project to adapt the setting and maintenance of existing vegetation in the Parque de Las Palmeras de Fortuna.
After the press conference, the Director of Employment and Training Service, along with the mayor of Fortuna and the other members of the Municipal Corporation, visited the work being done at Cueva Negra de Fortuna and the area landscaped Municipal Sports Pavilion during the course of previous employment workshop held in Fortuna in 2007-2008.
