The Cabinet has approved a proposal of the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, various investments for a total of EUR 542 869 for the attention to disability, residential services, day centers and Early Intervention in the town of Fortuna.
These three agreements with the City of Fortuna, on the one hand, the occupation of 17 places in the home for people with intellectual disabilities in situations of dependency, for an amount of 443 285 euros, for the years 2013 and 2014.
The second of the conventions adopted involves an investment of 44.7774 euros to expand in 12 the number of places in day center for people with intellectual disabilities in situations of dependency in this county.
This agreement will allow an increase up to 42 the number of places conveniadas with the council to ensure comprehensive care tailored to the needs of each user.
The aim is to implement the right of citizens to enjoy basic levels of social welfare and to have services that meet their social needs.
To this end, encourages the development of programs that allow them to expand existing services care for dependents.
Finally, it has authorized a grant in the amount of 57,810 euros for the maintenance of early intervention services in this county, in order to continue to provide prevention, detection and diagnosis and therapeutic intervention.
It also includes sensory stimulation, cognitive, speech therapy and hearing, as well as family counseling and social environment.
Early Care users are under six therapeutic needs, temporary or permanent limitations caused by alterations in their development or risk of suffering.
