The Murciano Health Service (SMS) plans to invest 2,350,000 euros in the construction of a new health center for the town of Fortuna, confirmed today the Minister for Health and Social Policy, Catherine Lorenzo, the mayor of the town Catherine Smith.
At today's meeting between the two, the regional health official stated the mayor of Fortuna if the budget affects several annuities and 2015, the SMS has allocated 250,000 euros for the drafting.
Lorenzo said the first mayor that the investment program SMS in Primary Care is aimed mainly to improve existing infrastructure and to replace those that are obsolete, such as the current Health Center Fortuna.
In this regard, he recalled that the SMS this year has a budget for investments 43,561,309 euros, representing an increase of 12.25 percent over the 2014 budget, and will allow undertake 32 projects to improve the health infrastructure, both Primary Care and Hospital Care.
