Fortuna City Council is working on the implementation of three programs of employment, which will imminently provide jobs for 26 unemployed people in our town.
The first is a Joint Programme for Employment and Training, called "Fortuna Avanza" and has a budget of 375,143.50 euros, of which 220,004.24 euros are subsidized by the Employment and Training Service of the Region Murcia.
Through this initiative it was professionally formed 15 people who currently are unemployed, which will sign a training contract for one year with the City, through which they receive vocational training in alternation with the work and professional practice, which will enable them to facilitate their access to the labor market in masonry.
Before this we must mention the double social benefit represented by this initiative to Fortuna, because in addition to providing participants with a qualification for employment, its work will allow the execution of works of great public and social interest, as they will provide the Fortuna town a more pleasant environment, with a design of their gardens and leisure areas more sophisticated and appropriate to current needs.
The actions that you plan this project, among others, are conditioning the interior and perimeter of the grounds of the sports center, and the reform of the Plaza de la Cruz de Fortuna.
Also for the month of March, the City Council has scheduled the launch of another project, through which they will hire unemployed Fortuna 5 people, 3 masons and 2 pawns masonry, which sign a labor contract 6 months, with whose work building a social center run Deportivo, a hotel restaurant and bar, located inside the grounds of the sports center of Fortuna.
This initiative has a budget of 137,224 euros, of which 54,415.26 euros that come from a grant from the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia.
In addition, also for the youngest of Fortuna, the City will launch another employment program, in this case aimed at young people between 16 and 30 years, registered as job seekers in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
Through this initiative, the City will hire 6 young unemployed for 6 months as clerks, which also benefit from an employment contract may acquire a professional practice in this field, as well as enrichment the job training, which will provide them some better conditions for future access to the labor market.
This program has a budget of 44,907.54 euros, of which EUR 43.407.54 are subsidized by the Department of Employment and Training.
According to this, the City Council has already proceeded to present job in the office of the SEF of Fortuna, where he will be provided with a list of pre-selected, from which, municipal services shall make the final selection of the 26 people get a job starting next March.
