Solis Sanchez, the collaboration with the municipality and celebrates having blocked the timely increase in crimes that occurred during last Christmas
The crime rate fell by 22% in January in Fortuna over the same period of 2015, as declared by the government delegate, Antonio Sanchez Solis, at the conclusion of the Local Security Board has presided over this morning by the local mayor, José Enrique Gil.
Both expressed their satisfaction that the collaboration between local police and guard enabled tackle a temporary rise in crimes that occurred a couple of months ago.
"I think things are going reasonably well, not only by the decrease of 22%, but also because it has increased police efficiency.
We have observed that there has been a greater percentage of crime detection in 2015 and, consequently, a higher percentage of detainees, "said Sanchez Solis, who sent a message of reassurance to residents by indicating that Fortuna is a safe city.
The mayor thanked the support of the Government Delegate, especially during last Christmas.
"I asked the police presence in our town expanded during this wave of robberies and the government delegate quickly answered my demands, which has allowed the theft of cars, which was the main problem, has practically disappeared," said Jose Enrique Gil.
