The Governing Council has declared the occupation of the land urgently needed to locate two vehicles weighing stations near Los Muñoces (Alhama de Murcia) and Los Baños (Fortuna), upon completion of prior public information phase.
One of the weigh stations will be located on the service road of the RM-2 motorway which links the A-7 to the field of Cartagena, near the hamlet of Los Muñoces Alhama de Murcia, in an expanse of 7,200 meters square.
The other is projected from the intersection of Fortuna variant (T-423) with the roads linking the villages of Caprés and Los Banos, and the latter with the road linking with Sale Necklaces (RM-A25 RM-423 respectively), near the hamlet of Los Baños.
This weigh station, with all appropriate services, will occupy an approximate area of 6,000 square meters.
The installation of these weigh stations in areas with large numbers of heavy vehicles, is to preserve appropriate regional road conditions heritage, land transport, ensure compliance with current regulations and promote road safety Road Network of the Autonomous Community.
